Swedish Massage. Using massage oil, the client is suitably covered with a large towel. The massage can be tailored to your specific needs e.g.: soporific and relaxing or deeper and invigorating.
Chinese Massage. Performed on a clothed body e.g.: T Shirt and Baggies. Generally this is a more invigorating massage especially if you are commencing your journey immediately after the treatment.
Thai Massage on Futon. Performed on a clothed body, it has similarities to Yoga except the therapist takes you through the movements.
Chair Massage. Performed on a clothed body, seated in a specialist massage chair. ½ hour treatment only to head, neck, shoulders and back, no lower bodywork.

Who is the tuition for?
1. Maybe you want more concentrated practical experience after just passing or even just before taking a massage examination.
2. You are a massage therapist and wish to add further skills to your repertoire.

4. You are for example, a homeopath, reflexologist, acupuncturist etc., and would like to gain massage skills to offer in your practice.
Learning to massage from an ordinary upright chair is extremely practical for therapists working from a small office e.g.: head, neck, shoulders, and upper back.

About the Therapist.
My early participation in boxing, amateur wrestling, judo and weightlifting prepared me for a life in Professional Wrestling. For 30 years I was fortunate to have wrestled in some 20 different countries, also receiving treatment for injuries in nearly all of those countries. In Japan and Korea I became fascinated by the bodywork and acupuncture I received which fuelled my desire to train at the School of Osteopathy and Complementary Therapies in Finchley, North London. After 10 years of working in my own, very busy, private practice in Gloucestershire, my wife and I sold up and moved to France, where we now run a small quality B & B and Gite, offering massage to guests and one on one courses in CPD. The courses are designed to offer a relaxed environment for professional development and a holiday.

Booking a course of Continual Professional Development in Massage may leave you with many uncertainties e.g., does the therapist/tutor have sufficient skills to teach? Does he have enough practice experience? Will we get on while working in such a close working environment? Etc.
I am confident of my own ability to make this work for you. In order to help put your mind at rest, I suggest you book a full body massage including your specific requirements for the course. IF after the extensive consultation and treatment, which is designed to give us the opportunity to get to know one another, you are not happy and confident that your expectations will be met, then WE will cancel the course. The only cost to you will be that of the treatment £45 + your accommodation, leaving you free to enjoy your stay with us.
